Grant Middle School is part of a diverse community conveniently located in the northeast heights close to Interstate-40 and Wyoming Boulevard. Grant offers a multitude of programs designed to support students on their path towards academic success. Grant Middle School offers many types of assistance and support to students and families.

Full-Service Community School

Grant Middle School is a full-service community school, we offer before and after school programs that are aligned with school curriculum. Grant offers a school-based health center and family resource center.

AVID School

AVID is an academic regularly scheduled elective class during the school day and is well aligned with the Common Core Standards (CCSS). AVID and the CCSS are focused on providing students with key cognitive strategies and skills students need for college and careers.

Title I School

In 2002, the No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB) reauthorized the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) of 1965 which was the first major federal aid program for public schools. NCLB is a divided into nine titles, the first of which is Title I.

Title I provides federal funds to schools that qualify for the purpose of raising student achievement. More than half of all public schools are Title I schools. Currently, 62% of Grant Middle School students qualify for free or reduced lunch.
